Coffee Market World on 17th June : The price keeps going up

The coffee price of World market on 17^th June keeps going up because of the inflation of other sensitive goods and the devaluation of US dollar.

In New York , Arabica coffee on July 2008 stands at 1,3910 USD/lb, increasing 0,0305 USD compared with last month. The price keeps going up 1,4175 USD/lb on September.

Besides currency element, coffee price has increased because of bad weather in Parana- the largest coffee area in

Brazil

. However, to specialists, low tempe rature can not damage coffees in this area. The tempe rature is increasing in the next few days.

Jaime Menahem, a businessman from Miami , says that Goods Fund Organization and investments strongly buy goods in the inflation of foodgrains and other sensitive goods while selling a few ones at present price. In London , Robusta price keeps increasing because of its shortage. At closed-exchanging day, the coffee price in July 2008 increases from 60 USD (or 2,7%) to 2.286 USD for a ton and from 40 USD (or 1,8%) to 2.264 USD for a ton in September.
